Palmer ES Weekly Update for 9/23 - 9/27

Good Afternoon Palmer Family,

It is hard to believe that we have already finished another week here at Palmer ES.  Today we had our first school-wide assembly and recognized two groups of students for the Positivity Project traits of Curiosity & Teamwork.  We are so proud of these accomplishments and will continue to celebrate the growth of students here in the building as often as possible.  

We want to thank all of our families that attended Curriculum Night this week and share that feedback on the "new" format was OVERWHELMINGLY positive.  It was exciting to see the pride and enjoyment students exhibited in showing loved ones around our amazing school building.  Special thanks go out to the PTA for their participation (popcorn and sno-cones)!

As you have probably heard based upon the THUNDEROUS ruckus that hit the surrounding Palmer ES community at approximately 3:00pm, the FUN RUN goal of $15,000 was met today.  That being said, I will be sleeping on the Palmer roof in the near future.  Thank you ALL for your support of Palmer ES and the Palmer PTA. Funds go to support students and staff in SO many ways. 

In anticipation of an EPIC event, please mark your calendars for October 10, when we will be hosting our annual Family Engagement Night (games/activities to improve student academic performance), Fall Family Book Night and a presentation (6:00pm - Palmer ES cafeteria - flier attached) by Baldwinsville Superintendent, Dr. DeBarbieri, outlining the EXCITING and TRANSFORMATIVE plans for Palmer ES and the Baldwinsville Central School District that will be up for public vote this December as set forth in a proposed Capital Improvement Project.  We are eagerly awaiting your attendance and appreciate your support.

October 22 - School Picture Re-Takes (Previously taken picture packages MUST be returned for a re-take to be done)
